I missed Day 2 and I sorely wished I hadn't. We had Ron “Freakin” Moody and the Centaurs! I can only go by what everyone tells me was a fantastic day of filming with some wonderful people coming out to be part of Torn,
I didn't miss Day 3. We can call it Battle for the Boat Docks! We filmed at Sandy River Reservoir out near Farmville. A beautiful and tranquil location that would make for one of the most important scenes for us to capture. The Death of Lassie! No wait wrong film. It was the one with Sharks and a lone female surfer, no wait wrong again. Michael Stone and Richard Spencer toiled against the sun and MANY boats to put our scene together and do it justice. I can say I was beaten down by the sun and am cooked to a raw pink because of it. I should be in pain. I should be nursing my bald head. I can’t the perpetual smile that is STILL on my face was brought on by this wonderful cast and great crew. Taylor Packett, we expect proof of the birthday shots in our absences. Happy Birthday and I look forward to working with you again. We ended the day by finishing one of the keys scenes in Torn. I look forward to be on set again. Keep up the incredible work. AJ, brother I am so happy we met and you listened to my story further than the first few sentences.

Hello everyone! Apologies for the lack of blogging yesterday. All hands were needed for multiple roles and everyone killed it! In doing so, we were all a little tired to say the least.
So, at 9:00am today we meet up after some much needed rest and began shooting for day three of TORN. We were joined by Rinny Wilson and Victor Collins, who were absolutley fantastic. We shot till about 5:00pm and a very tired and sunburnt crew. Triumphantly returned home having put in a great day of work. Expect to hear from our Executive Producer soon. He was on-set today and will be posting a more in-depth analysis of today's shoot. Speaking of crew! A better one you will not find. Everyone killed it today! Love working with all of you! I'll be back on-set of TORN Wednesday! Good luck on tomorrow's shoot. Wish I could be there. I'll post photos from tomorrow as soon as I can get them. Night everyone! -Jason R. After a slow start. The fantastic people assembled for this project, banded together and knocked out the remaining scenes. So, first off! Great job to all the cast and crew!! You are all fantastic!!
It's almost 4:00am and call time for Day 2 of TORN is rapidly approaching. So, stay tuned for more updates tomorrow. We are all going to get a a few well-deserved hours of sleep and hit it hard tomorrow. We started shooting today at 3pm. I say shooting but for anyone that knows the industry that usually means we sat around blocking and getting ready for a few hours while everything got set up. Excited to be back on a set and see this idea become a more solid project.
I should start out sharing how this came about. AJ came into my work about a year ago. During the visit we talked about film. At one point i mentioned a project that was something I was looking for a team to work on. The story struck him and before he left he asked me to exchange numbers. He wanted to see if I could help him on a project. We meet about a month or so later. We talked about our histories in the industries and projects we wanted/are working on. He asked me if I would be willing to trade some work for possibly working on my project. We talked for two or three hours. He was really excited about my project. It was funny because when I first told him about it, I said it was a Zombie film. His face tried to stay composed and struggled to do so. I do believe there was an audible sad release of breath. As I went deeper into the story his eyes lit up and he started to smile. By the end he trying not to blurt out ideas. For the next two to three months we meet and tooled the script. It was a great collaboration and we feed off each others excitement about the story. For me it was the start of seeing the short story I had written over 9 years ago. Welcome to the start of a film that I believe is something special. What's up guys!!!
